My practice explores familiar landscapes and the feelings they can hold, using painting and drawing to investigate light, nature, architecture and expressive mark-making.

I am a visual artist working primarily with painting and drawing. My practice explores the relationship between people, place and atmosphere, using expressive marks, colour and natural forms to create quiet, reflective landscapes.
My interest in art began in childhood. I was naturally drawn to drawing, painting, colours and observing the world around me. Over time, this early interest developed into a deeper appreciation for visual expression, leading me to explore painting and drawing more seriously.
My work begins with an interest in familiar places and the feelings they can hold. Through painting and drawing, I explore landscape, light, vegetation and architecture, focusing less on exact representation and more on atmosphere and emotional response. I am developing a body of work that brings together observation, memory and expressive mark-making.
